(BMJ) Palembang.
The chronology of events is as follows:
On Wednesday evening, December 20, 2023, the husband of the abuse victim was undergoing treatment at the Bunda Medika Jakabaring (BMJ) Palembang hospital. After several days of treatment, the victim's husband asked the nurse if he was allowed to go home.
At 23.30 WIB, specialist doctor MY came to the room and advised the victim's husband not to go home yet because he had to be observed. The victim's husband was moved from a class 2 inpatient room to a VIP room.
After moving rooms, MY doctor asked the nurse to leave and then injected the victim's husband until he fell asleep. The pregnant victim (TAF) was called MY and given an injection known as a vitamin.
However, after the injection, the victim fell asleep. That's when the alleged perpetrator allegedly committed sexual violence against the victim. The actions of this doctor were revealed when the victim (TAF) was conscious and woke up, his clothes were messy and he was reported to be next to him with his genitals out.
This was stated by the Head of Sub-Directorate PPA, Ditreskrimum Polda South Sumatra, AKBP Raswidiati Anggraini.

However, MY specialist doctors assured the victim that the injection would not affect the condition of her pregnancy. The "vitamin" injection ultimately rendered the victim unconscious. It is suspected that at that time, MY committed sexual violence. When he woke up, the victim saw MY beside him with his clothes open. "The complainant's bra was up and the doctor with the initials MY was removing her genitals," said Febriansyah.
